Anastasiya (Ana) Bachmanova

Anastasiya Bachmanova paints the ocean she lives beside. Working from Santa Cruz on Monterey Bay since 2014, she paints waves, tide pools and sea life in a style rooted in realism and lit with brilliant color and playful brushwork. Her work asks you to slow down and notice the magic already around you, and to feel more connected to the natural world worth protecting. She paints originals, commissions and live at events under the name Follow the Sun.
